The database offers information on research projects in a wide range of agriculturally relevant fields, and is a valuable resource for those interested in life and biological sciences, engineering, water resources, forestry, food science and nutrition, and textiles and fabrics.

Established by the 77th Texas Legislature, the database is maintained for the Texas Department of Agriculture by the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications and the Center for Agricultural Technology Transfer at Texas Tech University.
