Policy and Economics

Texas A&M AgriLife Research understand that policy and economics affect every aspect of agriculture – both nationally and regionally -and drives innovative and applied research programs that meet the decision support needs of stakeholders. These research tools can lead to important statewide objectives such as maintaining or regaining competitiveness, ensuring economic sustainability, and supporting agricultural solutions to feed the next generation. We strive to maintain a high degree of relevancy to the issues and concerns of commercial agriculture as well as the resource owners, businesses, and related communities which are mutually interdependent with commercial agriculture.
